Its 8-core FAC laser head delivers 44–48W of optical output — cutting 40mm basswood and 50mm black acrylic by multi-pass and producing 300+ colors on mirrored stainless steel. 8-Core 44–48W FAC Laser – Cuts 40mm Basswood, 50mm Acrylic

The B1 uses an 8-core laser module with FAC (Fast-Axis Collimating) lenses that produce a tighter, more concentrated beam than competing 40W designs — cutting ability rated 20%+ stronger than other machines at the same watt rating.

Single pass: 25mm paulownia wood / 15mm black acrylic / 0.15mm stainless steel. Multi-pass maximum: 40mm basswood / 50mm black acrylic. Spot size: 0.10×0.15mm. Laser module life: 10,000+ hours with replaceable protective lens to extend life without full module replacement.

450×440mm Work Area – 23.75% Larger, A3+ Format Production

Most open-frame lasers at this power ship with a 400×400mm area. The B1 40W ships with 450×440mm — 23.75% larger. In practice: a full A3 panel fits with room for hold-downs on all sides. A batch of 12 standard 100mm coasters fits in one run where a 400mm machine fits only nine.

The optional Y-axis extension kit expands to 450×850mm — replace the Y-axis rail to enable long board engraving, banner-length acrylic, surfboard graphics, and continuous production runs without repositioning. Compatible with all B1 variants.
